Making a treasury on Etsy is really easy! You need to be an Etsy member to do this but you don’t have to be a seller, a buyer’s account will do.
1. Go to www.etsy.com and click on the Treasury link. You’ll find this on the left hand side of the home page, a little way down, under Ways to Shop.
2. On the top right hand side of the Treasury page you’ll see Curator tools – click on Create a List.
3. Open another window in your browser. In this window go to www.etsy.com again. You’ll need to keep both windows open, one is for the treasury and this new one is to find the items you want to add.
4. Decide on the theme of your treasury and search for items using the search bar at the top of the page and click Search.
5. When you’ve found an item that you’d like to include, you’ll need to find the item’s URL. There are two ways of doing this…
- Either you can copy the link right from the search page. Right click on the title of the item (not the shop name) and select Copy Link Location from the option box.
- Or you can click on the item and take the link from the address bar at the top of your browser.
6. Switch to your Treasury window. You’ll see 16 empty boxes that are going to be filled with the items you choose. Underneath each box is a smaller box that says Listing URL, paste your link into that box and click ok.
After a few seconds the item’s photo should appear. Repeat for each item to fill all the boxes.
7. Before you finish, you’ll need to give your Treasury a title and, if you want to, a description and some tags that fit the theme of your collection.
8. Finally, click on the Save button at the bottom.

And you’re done! If you want to find the Treasuries you’ve made later on, click on the Your Lists button on the right hand side of the Treasury page, under Create a List.
